DEATH & TAXES To Enter Studio Later This Month
March 2, 2004DEATH & TAXES, the Los Angeles-based hard rock quartet featuring former members of HOLY SOLDIER and XYZ, will be in the studio starting in late March through early April finishing up their debut CD, titled "Waste of a Perfectly Good CD". Additional recording and the mixdown will take place at Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, New York. Grammy-nominated engineer Eric Fahlborg will co-producing the album with the band. An early May release through indie label Dead Moose Records is expected.

DEATH & TAXES' musical style is being described as "a blend of straight ahead old school rock, reminiscent of rock's glorious past, brought up to speed with a definite twist."
The nucleus of DEATH & TAXES consists of Jay Link on lead vocals, Michael Cutting of HOLY SOLDIER fame on guitars, David Starkey on bass, and Paul Monroe of XYZ fame on the drums.
